December

It was the most wonderful time of the year. December is always a busy month but it is full of fun activities, family get togethers and lots of projects (have I mentioned how much I love projects).
Since winter is the season of baking I busted out the cookie press. My mom use to make these cookies. They didn't turn out as well as hers, but they were fun to make.
Also I made snow flake cookies sugar cookies which I didn't realize at the time but apparently they are Frozen cookies. It's nice to know if this nursing thing doesn't work out that I can cater little girl birthday parties.
Sean is the best! I came home after working the weekend after Thanksgiving to find that the house was all decorated for Christmas.

James continues to grow. He hasn't started crawling yet, but he does keep doing the all fours wiggle.
This month he turned 9 months old. He weighs 20 lbs and he's completely grown out of his 9 month clothes and only fits in his 12 month clothes.
He has almost completely given up on baby foods and has to eat whatever you are eating.
And the best part of having a baby around during December is watching how mesmerized they get around the Christmas tree.
I could sit him down in front of the tree and he would be entertained. He loved playing with the reindeer's under the tree and the ornaments he was able to grab (no matter how much I tried to keep them out of his reach)
We spent lots of time with family in December. We got to go to the Christmas lights at Temple Square with Grandma Rogers, Chris, Jen, Abby, Samantha and William.

We also got all the cousins together and miraculously were able to capture a picture of everyone.
We got to spend Christmas Eve with Grandma Rogers. James had some of the Christmas dinner while the dogs watched on in envy.
Christmas morning we got to open presents. I don't think James quite knew what was going on but he seemed to enjoy it.

We had a great year!
