September

September was a pretty good month for us. Sean is still working at Zions Bank and I am still working weekends at the Hospital. James turned 6 months old and he weighed 17lbs 4 oz (42nd percentile) and was 27.5 in (83rd percentile) at his doctors appointment. Yep, our world pretty much revolves around this little guy. He reached a milestone that has made me very happy, he is now sitting up on his own. This matters because up until that point he hated going on walks because he had to be restrained in his car seat and couldn't see anything except for mom (which apparently just isn't that interesting after about 15 min). But now he can sit in the lower part of the stroller and look around and watch Poodee.
Another milestone is he is now eating "solids." When I say eating I mean it in the loosest sense of the word. He hates baby foods except for squash which he tolerates. What he really loves is actual solid foods. He likes orange slices, cucumbers, lettuce (yea weird), and most of all yogurt.
Yep that's a chobani gogurt which he has totally annihilated. He might make a complete mess but luckily I don't have to clean it up.
Now that he is eating solids, wherever James is Poodee isn't far.
James also has this new fascination with anything that is flat. Rugs. Belts.
The straps on his bumbo.
His other favorite toys are not toys. He loves to play with the water while I do the dishes., we almost don't have enough dirty dishes to keep him entertained.
He also loves the remotes, thank heavens we have four different ones he can play with.
Yep, this is my clan.
(I could not seem to get James to look at me while Poodee was there)

He is soooooo cute. And all boy. We have several remotes in our house too, and I never seem to get a turn with them. Too many Y chromosomes around here I guess.
